Our family has been coming to Big Canoe for several summers! We loved the views of the lake from this location! Everyone had plenty of room. It was so close to the rock slide and other lake activities… the kids loved it!

This is a spacious, clean, three story home conveniently located minutes from the main clubhouse and golf clubhouse. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking even though we didn’t cook this trip. We had a problem with the Kuerig coffee machine; it either overflowed our cups or wouldn’t brew at all, so we eventually we emptied out our Kcups and used the regular coffee pot. Overall a very nice home we recommend to others.

Awesome stay...everything we hoped for. We were so comfortable and entertained til of our plans to leave out went out the door. From the beautiful view of the lake, to the fire pit on the patio, and let's not forget the surround sound in the living room...we lounge in luxury and became the fainting goats we wanted to go see lol. Superb host, we will return, thank you so much for an amazing weekend!

We were grateful to stay in this lovely home over a July weekend. Everything was as described and it was perfect for our family. The owner communicates well by text and allowed us in the place a bit early. We also communicated back that we left two hours before checkout so they could start the clean.

We loved how close to the amenities this home was as well as the feeling of being surrounded by the trees. Unique features of this rental are the games on the lower level and the fire pit in the screened in porch, all of which we enjoyed!

This is a really solidly built, beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the lake from many rooms and two decks. The screened porch was wonderful. It has plenty of room and privacy for each guest. We loved our vacation here. The upstairs daybed really worked as a fifth bedroom. The teenagers can walk to the beachclub next door and that was fun for them. There's a path from the neighborhood down to a private beach in front of canoe lodge that we used often to throw balls for the dog and swim ourselves. Big Canoe is a magical place.

We recently had a "Mountain Wedding" and wanted a place to accommodate our out of town guests. This house was perfect! It's spacious and has all the amenities; TVs in every room, comfortable beds, two porches overlooking the lake , washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Our family really enjoyed our visit to Big Canoe on Dec 23rd -27th. Staying in such a lovely home made our time there very special !! We really liked Lake Vista-CKnoll.The home was so clean,beautifully furnished( even to the nice paintings on the walls!),a well equipped kitchen,very comfortable beds,TWO porches with lovely views of the lake, TVs in every room and even with several people, there was a sense of privacy .I could "go" on and on!!! The home was so comfortable........everything was done to make a person feel welcome! Lynn, Phyllis and David with Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia were so pleasant and helpful and I appreciated their interest in making our stay a wonderful experience.......they made a holiday family time very enjoyable....... .........an "extra" plus at Lake Vista was the joy of being able to bring our little Millie dog with us!She had a good time also:-)

We had a great weekend visiting Big Canoe and relaxing in the comfort of Lake Vista! The house was decorated beautifully and had plenty of room for our large family. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils/pots and pans, etc. The children especially enjoyed the large screen TV with its gaming system! There is so much to do in Big Canoe-hiking, kayaking, golf, tennis,etc. The next time that we vacation here we will stay longer, and we will definitely book Lake Vista. It's the best vacation house we've ever rented!!

Lake Vista is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking the trails at Big Canoe! We really appreciated the well- appointed terrace level with its shuffle board, comfy couches, netflix movies, and gaming system- big hit with the kids. The view of the sunrise over Lake Sconti from the porch was the perfect start to the day. We'll definitely be back!

Our big canoe experience exceeded all expectations. From the elegance of the Lake Vista Cottage to the sensory experiences of all that is the mountains, our only regret is we had to depart after three days. That won't be the case on our next visit. Wonderful accommodations , beautiful mountains, and challenging golf on the 27 holes. Lake Vista cottage is highly recommended.

We spent most of our time in Big Canoe enjoying the outdoors but it was nice to come home to our wonderful Lake Vista Cottage. This is a like new, completely refurbished mountain home. The sunrise over Lake Sconti and mountains is spectacular. When returning to Big Canoe this will be our Cottage of choice.
