Tammy and Ken Owens started Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia in 1996 and ran it until 2001. In 2001, Barry Cooper purchased the business and ran it until 2009. David Sharp moved to Big Canoe in 2007 and established his vacation rental management business, Relax in the Mountains of Georgia. In 2009, David purchased Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia from Barry and continued to run it until 2021. In mid-2021, Deborah Torrance and Wynn Jones purchased the business from David through their company, Ananda Enterprises, LLC, after successfully running their own respective businesses for over two decades, and managing their own personal vacation rental property. One of the oldest and most established rental companies in Big Canoe, Mountain Home Rentals of Georgia has been in operation for over twenty years. When Deborah Torrance and Wynn Jones purchased the company in 2021, they were managing 16 homes. Over the first two years, they have almost doubled their inventory, personally ensuring that each and every home exceeds expectations with heightened aesthetics and guest experiences that provide a significant return on investment for their homeowners. 

Deborah and Wynn’s luxury home rentals are all located within the incredible resort community of Big Canoe, Georgia, where they also own property. Their love for Big Canoe is abundantly apparent in the way they speak about the community and their business. And their drive to help both homeowners and guests enjoy the peace and serenity of the beautiful mountains they call home comes through in everything they do.
