We really loved staying at Bear Necessity! The decor and styling were so perfect - it instilled a sense of peace and calm in every room. The beds were incredibly comfortable as were the couches and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked, and we really were in need of nothing during our stay.

We had such a wonderful stay- the screened in back porch was so peaceful. Our kids enjoyed the games and puzzles available, the house was spottless and comfortable. Big Canoe has so many activities for families, the Beach Club is a must! My kids said it was the "best ever". We came for a wedding and didn't realize we found such a great vacation spot. We'll be back

We always love staying at Big Canoe and Mountain Home Rentals are the best! This house was perfect for our family of four. It was peaceful and quiet. We sat on the screened in back porch and listened to the bird and squirrels. We saw several deer from the porch. The house clean and homey feeling.

The home was exactly as it was listed, spotlessly clean and every thing you will need. We did not want to leave to go do anything, just hang out there. The owners thought of everything, it’s home away from home. I loved that the master bedroom is downstairs because I have severe arthritis. We’ll be back!

This place was immaculate. It was exactly as the listing describe. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, the living room felt very homey and the outdoor screened in patio was a plus. Great place to eat breakfast. The house was equipped with all essentials and more. Host were responsive. I recommend this place and would stay here again.

Beautiful house in the woods with a spectacular screened in porch! Great area for morning coffee and night time dinner and games. Check in was a breeze and great communication with the management company. The property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! We had an amazing stay.

The house was above and beyond our expectations. Perfectly clean, equipped with everything and with a stunning decor and comfort. Porches are incredible, you can enjoy a cup of coffee surrounded by trees and woods’ sounds. Barbecue Grill is well located and very practical. All appliances work great as well as showers and toilettes. Living room is beautiful and cozy. Bedrooms are gorgeous, best mattresses, linens and pillows. Everything smells nice. Thermostats and all technology In the house is the best quality. Mountain Home answered all our doubts immediately and they also sent a handyman very quickly when we were having some difficulty to turn on the fireplace. Our stay was a great experience for all the family and we would love to come back and recommend it as well. Thank you!!!

We really had a good time at big canoe and this property. Very quiet and the nicely renovated. Some restaurants are only open thurs to sat, so be mindful of that. Otherwise its about 25 drive to jasper. The accommodations were comfy, beds are nice, bathrooms small but workable, and the screened in porch is great. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Thank you

Perfect location for a fun girls trip weekend. The whole house was perfectly clean. The pictures with the listing are 100% accurate. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils, dishes, and glassware we needed. We truly enjoyed mornings and evenings sittting on the deck simply enjoying the peace and quiet. The house is perfect for a girls trip or family vacation. We would all come back. Communication prior to the stay was excellent and we had no problems at all during our stay.

Loved our stay at Bare Necessities in Big Canoe. The home was immaculate and matched the description outlined Airbnb to the “T”. Our first morning there, we discovered that the connection to the shower head was cracked and water was spewing out of the connection point. I immediately reached out to Mountain Home and they immediately sent someone to replace the damaged component. We greatly appreciate their responsiveness and will definitely be back!

We had an immaculate home to host a family reunion. It was a peaceful, tranquil, quiet setting. The kitchen was fully stocked. Places were available inside and outside to spend time together. The mountains of Georgia are beautiful any time of the year. The host responded within minutes when we asked a question. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved our time here, a beautiful clean home for our yearly reunion. The views from the back porch is lovely . All of us were very happy with the comfy beds and sheets! Beds are usually such a hit or miss in rentals.
