We had a wonderful time at the cabin. There was plenty of room for everyone, spaces for everyone to park and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Big Canoe is such a beautiful place. We also visited Burt’s Farm and the nearby waterfall. My husband and I hope to return for a couple weekend soon.

The description of this home does not do it justice. This home is huge and beautifully appointed. My family of 11 had room to stretch out and enjoy the million dollar views of the North Georgia mountains. Turn your cell phone off and enjoy this beautiful home. The road took a little bit to get used to, but got easier using the gears instead of the brakes. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we would definitely stay there again.

This has been a great weekend getaway for the 13 of us on our first family vacation to the cabins from start to finish. We all want to say thank you so much to Leah especially and to everyone at guest services who has been amazing during the duration of our stay. This cabin was everything pictured and more. We had so much room for everyone to be comfortable and that was a plus for us. We are hoping to return on next year for another vacation and a longer stay. Again, thanks!

The place is beautifully decorated and accommodated our large group perfectly. We were there for a dear co worker and friend baptism. It was a perfect setting for our reunion for the weekend. We will definitely keep on list for future large party gatherings.

House was wonderful.. very spacious with everything we needed… lots of space for group activities, and also little private areas where you can sit and relax, and read a book or drink a cuppa coffee. Kitchen had everything we needed, as well as enough basic supplies for a couple of days for the washing machine and dishwasher, garbage bags…. as well as non-perishable condiments, such as salt and pepper…. The ONLY issue we had was with all of the TVs…. and granted, it was probably OPERATOR ERROR by all of us senior ladies who are not always tech savvy…. All of the multiple TVs used Roku format which we weren’t used to, and the general instructions were rather vague. I did speak with the management company, who sent a gentleman to the house immediately to check all of the TVs, however, we were not at the house when he arrived so we did not get to interact with him face-to-face to learn more about the operation of the TVs. I suggested providing step-by-step, precise operating instructions near each TV, and labeling each remote for each specific TV, because the remotes did get mixed up according to the repair service. The management company was extremely pleasant and helpful, and wanted to make sure that our stay was comfortable and problem free. The lady also assured me that they examine every suggestion made, and try to implement whatever measures well benefit future guests. Our group of nine women certainly plan to return to this house again soon.

The house was absolutely beautiful and there was more than enough room for our party of 9 adults. The kitchen was also surprising well-equipped for a rental! The huge dining table was definitely a highlight. If your friend group loves board games, you’ll be delighted.

We came for a girls weekend and had a great time. The home was exceptionally clean and welcoming. We did have some issues finding the lockbox and getting the front door to lock, but none of the other reviews list this as an issue so I’m fairly certain it was user error. ? The important part is that when we were having issues, we were able to reach management immediately and they talked us through it. The water pressure was great, the back deck views were magnificent, and the beds were AMAZING. You can tell the owners care about the property and that guests enjoy themselves. Big Canoe is just magnificent, even in the winter when the trees are bare. The walking trails are an added definite plus. We met a few locals who were so helpful in directing us toward their favorite trails, which was so nice! Overall, we could not have been more pleased with our stay and we will be coming back for sure!

The property is spacious?clean? very good for big group reunion. The check in/out process is easy, communication with management team is also easy. Overall our group are very happy about it. If you want to improve s little bit more, you may provide more ladles.

This was a super positive experience. I have never rented VRBO and was pleased with the outcome. As noted in the survey, the team was responsive, helpful, and polite. The size and layout of the house suited our needs perfectly! So much space that 12 of us were never once under each others feet. While at the same time it was NOT too much space. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The view was beautiful from the top deck. I sat out on the deck every morning and evening and in between. My favorite spot. No mosquitos or bugs. The hummingbirds visited us a few times. The bonus was a lower deck are a ls well. My brother and his family of 14 stayed in Big Canoe as well. They came over for dinner two nights. It was perfect. With 25 people, we never felt crowed. It was a perfect setting. The water was hot, the water pressure was good and everything worked. The decor was a little dated but everything was clean except for the coffee pot and there was a bit of dust on the furniture but not a problem at all. There are a lot of light switches, LOL. I wanted to label them. It also would have been nice for there to be more exit signs to the main gate exit on the way out. That’s a Big Canoe thing. Use google maps-not apple google maps. I got lost a couple of times going up and down and I have a good sense of direction. So many side streets. Overall, fantastic experience. I would rent again.

We had 8 adults and 3 other adults that visited during the day. The home was very spacious, comfortable and well laid out. The 3 bedrooms with King size beds was a huge plus. The view was incredible. Road to the house is a little scary if you are not use to narrow mountain roads but overall just a wonderful location. We would definely come here again if we are in the area.

The cabin was much more "dated" than the listing pictures led you to believe. It was very spacious and had a good view. We found the road signs in Big Canoe very hard to follow. The roads are not marked well. There are no arrows pointing right, left or straight. Just the names of the roads are on the signs.

Our friend circle takes an annual trip to Big Canoe properties each winter. We need a house that will host 10-14 women. This was a great property for us - we had 10 this year. A large living room allowed us all to congregate (though we couldn't get the fireplace to work). It has a wonderful, large dining table that fits 10 comfortably (bench on one side). We appreciated the second refrigerator in the garage to hold all of our beverages. We found the kitchen to be slightly understocked in regards to serving bowls and platters (we cook) and beverage glasses (both regular and wine glasses). Cooking pots and pans and utensils were plentiful. We prefer homes that have king beds (easy to share) or lots of queen beds (prefer not to share). This house was close - with one more person, we would have had to share a queen (and we already had two women on twin beds). And we were a little short on toilet paper by the end of the weekend. Overall, a great place for us! Would definitely recommend!

This was the 14th annual retreat for a group of 16 family and friends. These trips are so special to us, and the rental is over 50% of the experience. The cabin was so spacious and comfortable, we didn't leave for the entire weekend. Kids had enough room to run around and the adults were able to relax and enjoy each other's company without feeling cramped. When checking in, all of my guests weren't included on the names list at the front gate on our arrival day. Could have put a sour taste in our mouths after waiting for over a year to reconnect with our group. I called the property owner (in addition to a VRBO app message) and he responded instantly by adding their names to the list for entry... took 5 minutes. I so appreciated that, and this was after hours on a weekend. Truly a great experience. Thanks again!!
