Absolutely great location and beautiful home. The location is so peaceful - perfect place to escape. The outdoor deck was a great place to relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The home is wonderful and love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with any dish, glass, or utensil you could ever need while staying here. Communication with me was excellent. Overall highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a lovely time in Big Canoe at Southern Views! The views are breathtaking and part of the time we were there a cloud settled around us. It was euphoric! The sunrises were spectacular and the whole family had room to gather around the large table for food and games. We went apple picking nearby and there was an apple farm with lots of activities for our granddaughter.

Perfect for 6-8 people. Lovely, comfortable home with multiple gathering spaces. Big Canoe activities are great. If you want a great mountain vacation, be sure to put Southern Views at the top of your list!

One of the nicest places we have stayed. Felt right at home and extremely comfortable. Accommodated our whole family with the best views! Truly are million dollar views. We had a fantastic time at this house. The hosts were friendly and responded to our inquiries within minutes.
The view was amazing and could be enjoyed from almost every room.
The house was clean, just like described and exactly like the pictures.
We’re already planning to come back later this year.
Do pay attention to the host’s tips on how to get there to avoid the super steep road!

If you are not used to mountainous areas then finding the home will be an adventure in itself once you’ve entered the Big Canoe community. The adventure is well worth the effort once you walk inside and through the house to the patio and gaze upon the beautiful view you’ll be soaking in for the remainder of your stay. The pictures honestly do not even do that view justice. It is something you have to witnesses for yourself to appreciative just how incredible it really is. The house was clean and had everything in the kitchen you could possibly need during your stay. While we were there we rented a pontoon boat & went swimming at the indoor pool both of which we enjoyed. Both amenities do have fees. We did have to contact the host during our stay and they were super quick, helpful and friendly at responding. We would love to return and would definitely recommended staying here.

Spacious house with plenty of room for my family of 10 people (8 adults, 2 children) coming from 3 different locations. Beautiful views from the two decks and all back windows. We enjoyed the pool table on the bottom floor. The children appreciated the bunk beds and toys. Parking was sufficient for our 3 vehicles, but that was probably the limit. The host was very responsive and helpful.
Big Canoe has two entrances. The drive from the cabin to either entrance takes about 20 minutes. There is an IGA grocery store near the main entrance. Otherwise, it takes about another 20 minutes to go to Jasper, which has more shopping options. We arrived in 3 different vehicles. The first two groups checked out the cabin and sent the third group a list of items to purchase in Jasper before proceeding to Big Canoe. The situation worked very well for us since our family spent the entire time in the cabin or on the hiking trails within Big Canoe.
We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

The house is fantastic, so cozy, attractive and very well stocked with everything needed for a great get away. The ride up the mountain can be a little scary but it is the only way to get the magnificent view the house provides.

We loved our stay. Home was very clean and cozy. Can't wait to stay again. Leaves have started to change so the scenery was so pleasant. Roads are a little tight for a Ram 3500.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend. It was my husband, 3 children and their friends. We had a great time. The house was large enough to accommodate us all without being in top of each other. The deck and view was amazing. It is very quiet and relaxing. The drive up to the house took us a little getting used to but it was manageable. The lakes were fabulous and the hiking was incredible. I especially enjoyed the toys they had for our six year old. The board games were a plus too. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. I would stay here again.

Great home. Layout and accommodations are exactly as described and pictured. Quick response and communication with the host. Views are beautiful, but it's a journey to get there. Do not put the house address into GPS until you get to Big Canoe. Was great for a family vacation!

The property is very nice. We could tell they have been working on some things. The appliances looked pretty new. The water heater was new we didn't have hot water and saw it needed to be turned on. All was great then. The only thing I wish we would have known was that the indoor pool needs to be reserved and it is $7 person for 45 minutes to swim. It gets expensive to swim with a family for only 45 minutes. The other pools were not open yet since we were there in early April. The view was stunning and the house very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it. It is a drive from the main gate but that was ok for us.

This is a great house for either large families or if you're hosting a couple of families. Admittedly, it is a bit of a drive from the entrance of Big Canoe, but the views are worth it!

We were nearly speechless when we saw the view. This place has panoramic views from every room, bedroom and bathroom! I cannot express how dramatic this forever view is. The place is also HUGE! Two kings, two queens, bunks and more. Excellent attention from hosts. Really nice grill on a massive deck. Did I mention the VIEW!!!!

My family and I came to stay at this home in early August to celebrate my nieces birthday. We were immediately blown away by the scenic views from the beautiful wrap-around deck and multitude of windows. This house was perfect for family get-togethers with a spacious dining room/family room, new appliances in the kitchen, and 4 bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate a large party. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home.

I spent the weekend at Teaberry Cottage and it was amazing. The view was astounding and the house was very comfortable. We went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and there was a lot to do. The kitchen was large enough to make a large dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed in the dining room. There was a ping-pong table downstairs where I attempted to teach my girls how to play. And the rooms were very comfortable. After a long day, I fell asleep instantly. Very much recommended.

I spent a weekend in this house with my boyfriend's family. It was a great location due to the fact that we had family coming from many different directions and made for a great meeting place. This house was even more wonderful than the pictures suggest! You can tell that the house was always beautiful with vaulted ceilings, endless windows, and a great fireplace but the owners outdid themselves with the updates and renovations. Everything looks very clean and freshly painted and there are some vanities in the bathrooms nicer than my own! The house also features updated appliances which made cooking a blast after a trip to the local farmer's market. None of us could believe how spacious everything was from the bedrooms to the living room and kitchen. With such a nice, open floor plan no one ever feels left out of the conversation. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a getaway!

I stayed in this house for a girls weekend, which was great fun. The house is spacious and well-appointed, with great attention to detail. A large dining room table accommodated our group meals, and the kitchen was a dream for preparing those meals. We went to a nearby farmer's market, and the house is also close to Gibbs Garden. The view of the mountains from the back of the house was spectacular. I look forward to returning to this house.
