This special & unique Mountain Lodge recently updated with love :))) is a perfect getaway for families, couples, friend groups and retreats!  Enter by a charming front porch, to an inviting open plan space - perfect for entertaining -  with water and wooded mountain views thru every window.  Parking is just in front for 2 cars.  Additional parking is just across the street in neighborhood parking area.  

- Kitchen & Dining -

This beautiful open-plan Mountain Lodge boasts a well-appointed kitchen- just the spot for preparing a meal, cup of coffee, or a snack. The kitchen area has Keurig and drip coffee makers to make the morning cup of coffee fun and easy. :)  The kitchen is open to the living space- allowing chefs to be part of the fun and enjoy views of nature, while creating a delicious meal.  The large dining table seats 6/8 (with additional seating for 3 at the kitchen counter) and has stunning meal time views.  Additional seating for dining or drinks just outside on the outdoor deck and screened porch coupled with a convenient provided wheeled cooler.

- Living Space -

The living area is open plan with living, dining and kitchen areas opening to a wall of windows-  enjoy the creek, lake and wooded views.   The living space is great for entertaining friends and family with comfortable seating for the group large flat screen TV -  perfect for game night or gathering.   The outdoor deck has gorgeous mountain views, relaxation chairs, dining table and large gas grill - the grill master will remember the views all year long.  :)    The spacious screened porch has luxurious and comfortable seating which creates a fun and inviting area to gather together and make memories. For the young ones, this property proudly offers children’s books & toys!

- Beds & Bathrooms -

The primary suite is conveniently located on the main level (king), and has a private tv and an attached bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower, jetted garden tub, double vanities.  The gold bedroom and the gray bedroom on the upper level (king) (king) share a jack and jill bathroom. Both have private seating and a flat screen tv for your enjoyment and share a private loft relaxation space- perfect for games, a book or working at the large desk.  On the terrace level a second living room with comfortable sofas and 65" flat screen tv- perfect for movie night is flanked by a large bunk room and fifth guest room (twin bunk, twin bunk)(Queen).  The bedrooms and 2nd living room share a full bathroom.  Just outside the 2nd living room is a large patio with water views and a corn hole game set up inviting group fun.  .

THE AREA:
Big Canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Atlanta. There is a stock with a trout fishing lake, marina, and rental boats available. Big Canoe has over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself.You can reach us through your booking conversation thread, or you can speak to our 24/7 Guest Experience Department.

OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 12 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over (limit 10), however, in compliance with the city regulations, and there cannot be more than 12 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.

RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.

CLOSE TO FAVORITE AMENITIES:
This beautiful home is a short walk to the Beach Club, Lake Disharoon and the Fitness Center.  There are steps to the trail to the Beach Club about 100 yards before you get to the home. 

PARKING:
The parking pad in front of the home has space for 2 vehicles.  There is additional parking just across the street in the neighborhood common space.  The driveway has a bit of an incline, if you wish to have completely flat parking, it is possible to park across the street.

**CLEANING PROTOCOLS**    A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue.  All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants.  We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards.  We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-)   This beautiful home is not pet friendly.  :-)

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.

QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.

SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the property. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your property during your reservation period.

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

FIREPLACE:
Is decorative and not for use.  The fireplace does have decorative candles which can be clicked on and off for beautiful ambiance and glow.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees).  If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded.  Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded.  We will do our best to work with each guest.  We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.
